Thanks for answering that question. I am concerned about what type of coverage they offer.
What is the provider?
How is the coverage?
What are the copays?
Is there any documentation available prior to signing up?
Thanks

I am a 12yr driver and am thinking about teaming with a friend and splitting the lease is anyone else doing this and how has it worked? do most loads run coast to coast? what is the average per mile or is the $1.02/mile the best way to go? do they have a mileage charge for going over a certain number of miles. if you take the time to honestly answer my questions and there is a referral bonus I will gladly give your name!

Prime pays percentage of linehaul, not cpm for their L/O. The guarantee is just that. On a 100k mile average, you will make $1.02/mi. You really better hope you get better than that. Just sayin'. Teams do get more of the coast to coast runs, but that's not always guaranteed.
Not sure how splitting the lease would work. Probly oughta take that up w/ Success. -
Do flatbedders that are l/o get paid percentage of the linehaul.

And to answer the other post question. I make between $1500 & $2000 per week running solo on the flatbed side on average. Keep in mind you can make less if you have something come up that prevents you from running. As for splitting the revenue it can work, just don't be disappointed if you end up not running for some mechanical, personnel, other reason and the check is only peanuts. Just have a plan and you should do fine.ttownrunner Thanks this. -
Is that what's paid to the truck, or is that what's left over after you've paid fuel, lease payment and deducted for tire and maintenance reserves? -
I'm boarding the greyhound in the morning. I've got everything packed... Here's my question. I have one big duffle at with all my cloths and stuff. I couldn't fit my sleeping bag in it, so I have a small carry on tyPe bag with my sleeping bag, sneakers, and towel in it. Is this too much to bring on a trainers truck? I tried to get it down to one bag, but I don't see it happening. My recruiter said to bring 2 weeks worth of clothing, I didn't bring quite that much.
