You have to use Menlo, look them up, or get set up to spot bid. You have a big trailer there are a lot of RGN loads coming out of Savannah.

Most of the military you see comming out of the port is cheap. Carriers take all the loads they can get from Menlo then broker them out for nothing. Brokers love military loads because they get their money in 1 day.

If you can get set up direct with Menlo you will do much better. i don't know what their requirments are.

With that kind of equipment, your definitely limited to big stuff. Have you ever thought about sending them down to south TX? When they do Rig m.oves, some of them like having big equipment available. And pay is pretty good.

And as an aside-- Lots of times you don't need a permit. You stay on lease roads. Saves you the $200+ permit cost for TX overweight.

You look like the most interesting man in the world.

Do your words carry weight that would break an ordinary man's jaw? :biggrin_25523:

From what the folks at my local base tell me Menlo is higher than we were and can't supply the right equipment on the first try..

They are just like CHR, offer just enough to cover the load, the goverment isn's saving money.
