If you talk, spell and punctuate like an idiot, then odds are a tm or anyone else will not consider you. You have the aforementioned covered so, the race card is at best propriatary.

My Father worked out of this terminal for many years. Started when it was Airco, stayed when Chemical Leaman took over, and retired from Air Products.
They are very picky because they can be, the job is a great one.
So you know, I was turned down for a few jobs recently, guess there are also those that discriminate against balding white guys.
Is there a card for me to play?

I keep an eye on Air Products website - because it is a great company and I'd love my husband to get on their. From what I've seen in PA - they are only looking for team drivers most of the time.

 

Good thing Air Products is doing the hiring back east.

I was listening to a radio show sitting in traffic in Portland OR and a member of the board of the EEOC in OR said they had hired a consultant for 200k a year to see why more minority's where not applying for and or getting city and state contracts.

She stated that we need to have a system where the outcome is different. Meaning they need to lower the bar for certain groups of people or give them extra help so that in the end the demographics for contracts reflect the demographics in the population.

No allegations of wrongdoing have been raised, they (the EEOC) just do not like the numbers. So to achieve this they are going to practice reverse discrimination (affirmative action) to get the numbers up.

So if these clowns where looking at the hiring at Air Products, they would want to see the same numbers of minority's represented as there is in the population of the state they are located in. Qualifications matters not.

 

And this is ABSOLUTELY what's WRONG with our country!!!
