    There was an hour break logged shortly before, and an hour and a half break logged shortly after...neither of which were 2 hours in duration. The other mistake was that the 8 hour break was not in the sleeper. If you are using "off duty" for your break, it's gotta be all or nothing....can't split it. The 8 & 2 has to have 8 consecutive hours in the sleeper berth and a 2 hour block either in the sleeper or off duty.

    What's so hard about 8 hours sleeper birth then a 2 hour off duty or sleeper to restart your 11?

    I was about a quarter mile behind a driver the other day who must have been running about the same speed as i was (65mph) cause the spacing seemed constant. So the guy blows a tire on his trailer and about 4ft of tread is laying on the highway. About 30 seconds after blowing the tire he turns his flashers on so I know that he knows he blew a tire. So I signal left and ease into the hammer lane assuming the guy is gonna slow down and pull over since he turned his flashers on. Nope! After a couple minutes it is obvious that I'm not gaining on this guy so I ease back into the right lane and by now the road is littered with hundreds of small pieces of rubber. Well this goes on for about 7 or 8 miles before the guy finally pulls over about a mile from an exit with a Petro. Turned out to be an ATS driver. Anyway I can't explain the logic in his actions. Just another head shaker.

    ATS = STUPID LEASE OP

    I had one of them the other day, he was parked on the shoulder i passed him. As i go by he pulls back onto the road, about 20 min later he blows past me, puts his 4 ways on slamms on the brakes and parks right at the enterance of the off ramp.....not sure how he passed me either ATS = 62mph....and is was clearly a POS ATS Lease truck so he musta had some work done that he isnt allowed to....

    Ahh, but it doesn't restart your 11. It's kind of a rolling 11.
