I hauled a load o pallets for Corning in Muskogee. The bill did say pallets. It felt a little different. So I scaled. I was over on my trailer tandems by a couple of notches. What they did was put some pallets down, then put down a couple of feet of those great big sheets of paperboard. That was what was weighing so much. They loaded it all the way top to bottom, front to back. Sometimes you have to go with your instinct.

What gets me is that right now they are advertising .36 for six months experience one year or more you get .38 per mile stay with them for year and get .39 per mile this is for sw lanes and lane freight 57' fleet and average 2500 miles per week. Ok so the SE guys get .305 per mile and only average 2200 miles a week less money less miles for SE guys. Who can see the problem with this? SW avg. Net pay is 900 per week and SE guys net around 600. So if it holds true that they have all those new Pete's at the Florida terminal sounds like the SE drivers are losing pay so the company can pay for those new trucks. New trucks are nice but extra 200 or 300 in my pocket is much much better. If I was one of those SE drivers I would be very mad and demanding a raise. I would like to know their justification for putting it to the SE drivers and rewarding the SW drivers with miles and money.

Im getting ready to file a lawsuit against these fools over peoplenet. i also know about the shop, i put mine in freightliner in san antonio a few weeks back. Company paid 1 night in hotel, then said, we have a truck at a customer you can go get in temporarily, dispatch and shop even told me there was a million things wrong with it, they just wanted me to drive it to fortworth because a driver left it broken down. im like wtf, im not taking that pos, and besides i have to much stuff to truck hop and i #### sure aint leaving my stuff, i was then informed they were not gonna pay for a hotel room any longer for me because i refused to take that pos truck. i had to pay for 6 days in a hotel plus buy food etc out of my poocket and only got 1 day of layover pay while freightliner worked on my truck. I suppose they offered me that junky truck just so they could say they made me an option and now they dont have to pay. they are good at doing stuff like this to people.

I just left 4 days ago. i was making .40 for 57ft lanes. i was offered a measly .36 for SE and .38 for SW. i know for a fact they will not get you 2500 miles a week on 57, i was at all my destinations early and my only service failures were for getting there EARLY.( home depot) i ran everything they ever gave me, averaged about 1200 per week, now if i slacked on sending in bills one week, then yea, i had a good check next week lol whopping 2400 miles or so.

For somebody that works for them, you sure dont know much about them do you? you can sign all the forms you want it means nothing, texas law requires them to pay you. even if you decided to take the steering wheel out and take it home with you, they still have to pay you. Those forms are a scare tactic that dont hold the value of thepen you signed it with.. Contact the labor board.

Lol that's the Lakeland yard. Im assuming you've never been out to these parts.

    Maybe I read it wrong.

However, if your describing potholes here... they now grade the yard every couple months however we do still get a nice flowing river outside the front gate. Not many modifications we can make as the property is owned by the hydes and wont allow it.

Its ok, it works out for some and doesn't for others.

Im sorry maybe i'm missing something. How does me working here mean I don't know much about them because of a state law in Texas?
