that's all fine and dandy...and a Mexican driver can do that, IN MEXICO! Here in the USA, I'll do my job above and beyond. I've had at least 4 4000 mile weeks over the last 6 months, and I've never complained about it. I do my job and earn my living to the best of my ability. That, sir, is the American way. I don't want anyone to contribute anything to my life that I can't earn on my own. Search all the posts I've made and you won't find me whining and crying about my job, EVER! I'll bet my next month's wages on that.
It's "Americans" with the perception that you have who are in the wrong, but you're too afraid of being called a racist or a bigot to stand up and say "I WANT MY COUNTRYMEN TO HANDLE THE FREIGHT IN MY COUNTRY! STAY HOME, MEXICANS!!" The left will paint you into that racist corner, when in fact it's about our own sovereignty. Does it sound heartless, you bet. But I would much rather be called whatever name the left wants to call me than turn MY country that MY friends/family have fought to defend from enemies foreign and domestic into another third world nation like Mexico. That is where this country will go if people like you keep degrading the American people who could probably work circles around your sorry butt AND Pedro's.

I've met a lot of lazy truckers but they never last and they are all new, the ones that have stayed are some of the hardest working men and women in this country, do u think its that easy to stay out on this road for as long as we do not seeing our loved ones.... I stay out 6 weeks at a time to support my wife and I and for that i'm rewarded with 6 days at home,
and when i'm out here its all about work i dont earn much per mile but i bust my ### to make 1,000 bucks a week, This Career field is not easy taking Flak Shippers, Traffic in Major Cities, Backing into Docks build in the 1950's, Driving through New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Pennslyvania.....
This job is Very Stressful, you have traffic, horrible directions, Cops target us for easy money, Cant idle in Some States resulting in terrible rest, knowing that if your anyway involved in an accident you can loose your career, Unmarked Bridges in Towns you have never been to, having your paycheck putting a constant rush/stress on you because its based on productivity, sitting for hours at shippers/receivers not being paid for it costing you money, Weighing and Axleing out loads your not paid to do that either, Meeting Alternating Deadlines Deliver at 5pm one day not picking up the next load till 7pm the next day driving 1/2 awake because the load threw you off on your sleep cycle,
Driving on Snow, Ice, Rain, Black Ice, Rush hour Traffic in bad weather, Scale houses, Random Dot inspections, lay over's break down's, slow freight season, Bad Companies, Bad Equipment,
Working here is not Easy and i would never call a REAL Trucker lazy
you know my wife had a miss carrage in january and i was thousands of miles away and I had to decide to stay out so that the bills got paid because it was the beginning of the month, its not easy on US The drivers or our Spouses who stay at home Missing the other for days on end most drivers stay out for 300+ days a year thats less than 65 days at home
this is a life style its not easy and its not for lazy people.. -

Everybody knows, Only SuperTruckers and MExicans can make a living on .13/Mile.
Mexicans are thrifty.
And SuperTruckers Like Myself can do 80,000 Miles a week Easy.
SO you Lazy "Regular" Truckers betta get on the ball, Or, Get in the Welfare Line (Behind me of course)
Cause once Schnieder - Swift - etc... Get the "Good ta Go" thumbs up from Good ole' Unky sam, The Market will be Flooded with .13 / Mile loads.
So beeter start saving up for a Mega Rig like mine, or Practice Waving the "Wal-MArt Greeter" Wave.
Wait.... A mexican will get that too.

OK not all Americans are lazy but the truckers sure are, they don't want to run the freight that comes out of Mexico that's why the Mexicans are coming here now. Hey, they had to come here to mow our lawns, tend our crops, pour our concrete and build or buildings so why does it suprise anyone that they are now hauling our loads for us, because we're all to lazy RIGHT!
