That was a crazy "application" review time time...

Good luck and when you get the job, let us know with who and the details.

$110 Crude Oil isn't slowing things down any.

How much are water truck drivers netting per week? Please tell what your take home was and how much you worked for that take home pay. The number of dependants you claim will help provide clarity.
Also, please, how much you pay for rent and food per month and gas for your car (how many miles are you putting on that car for personal transport to and from work?).

Most of your answers are in earlier posts on this thread. I would start at the front.

I actually have read this thread (and many others) and have seen nothing about weekly food expenses and to and from work and mancamp gas expenses. I have not seen any Net income statements. I have not read what folks are paying per week in N.D. State income taxes (research has shown me a N.D. state income tax of 25 bucks per thousand gross if filing single). I see rents ranging from $800.00 per month if you can find it and are willing to drive one hour to your room each way, to $3,500 per month, if you can find it, in town.

I'm only asking because the way I am figuring it If I gross $2,000.00 per 70 hours of work I will pay a full tax burden of $500.00 (if filing single) and I will pay at least $400.00 for that week for the room I rent and at least $100.00 per week for food and gas for my vehicle.
    I must be missing something.
To bust butt for that week in that weather and gross an absolute max of 2K for that 70 hours and an absolute, Absolute! max of 1K take home just don't add up.
    I must be missing something.
    I often do.
    Thanks

    Stamper1 Thanks this.

No I think you're right. Having an RV might help if you want to live in one and you don't always get 70 hours. I have come across more than one poster lately saying hours right now, for some workers are 40-50 and others even looking for work. As long as there is no place to rent, that tells me things are not letting up.

the only "slow down" I have come across from my conversation yesterday is the preparations and issues they are having with load restrictions coming up this the usual spring thaw.

But yes, it was confirmed there is a slight lull right now.
