not bad! What amounts did you insure your equipment for?
I think progressive will have the majority of the trucking market real soon if they dont already..
At your rate u obviously dont have any tickets! Becareful! One ticket will double your rate!
Insurance companies use anything to justify jacking up your rate! Make more money... -
Progressive with unlimited mile radius, $1m/$100k/$15k with a speeding ticket that drops in April = $4500 if I pay in full. General merchandise / temp controlled.
cheflee Thanks this. -
I just ran a quote as I am a company driver but for one truck and trailer with Progressive default coverages it was just shy of $10,000 holy smokes!!! I don't even have a single ticket!!! I was able to get the quote down to a $1800 a year but I am pretty sure I would not want to drive around the block with the coverage amounts that gave me!
-
how much coverage because thats up their.
-
1m/100k/20k Progressive must just have something against my name! LOL
-
im about 380 a month with national insurance
-
I have 1M Lib, 100k cargo. $1000 deductible. No body, or general coverage.
-
I have never checked Progressive because of their radius deal, but that is half what I paid last year. No tickets wrecks etc.
I do auto transport, which is typically higher, but should NOT be double. -
Autos will easily give you a huge increase over some ham and egger hauling generic freight in a van. Rates also depend on your base state. I looked into hauling cars on my flat back in the day and my cargo ins would have doubled.
