    Why does the new TND Dock not allow me to import new POI? it just stays greyed out like the update button.

    Mark I could not get the GPS find this Address 1091 Lousons Road
    Union, NJ 07083-5029 I tried by zip I tried by city. This is not a new road. In fact I could not get Union NJ come up at all. This address is from from the company website.

    For City type in Union TWP, then click on Union TWP:Union, NJ, then enter the street/number.

    yes I have 2 and they both do the same think on the desktop as well as the laptop.

    In your response to this person you asked "how did you get a test unit?" What did you mean by TEST UNIT? Did some units get out by accident? Well I am having the same issue. Map Data Base Error and says the license has expired. Plus I have a smaller screen saying "Application Error, Application Navi.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down"
    I may be able to find the reciept of purchase, but will need to get with book keeper and try to find this info if needed.
    You state there is a serial number at the bottom right. Mine has a bar code with numbers below it. They are A 47 T5C 1706A4


    I purchased this unit NEW from the TA truck stop in San Antoino, Texas.

    Like others, I tried the downloads which took HOURS, and did not work. I need to keep rolling and the GPS was an excellent tool keeping tracking of milages, keeping me from making mistakes delivering my vehicles, ect. So I purchased another TND unit. I have just now had the time to try again to get it operational again (after almost a year) and have no success. I just sent a message to customer support a little while ago, then when searching this post to see how many others were having the same problem found this post.

    I really could use this unit now as I have purchased another truck and would like to have it for the driver of the new truck.

    Looks like my 5 week old TND 510 is toast. My TND 500 was stolen so I had to replace it.

    I was getting a really annoying flickering on the screen with the power plugged in the unit. This was with two chargers that deliver 1 amp and both work (I tested on different items). Sometimes it would freeze then it just quit and nothing can revive it.

    Unfortunately my receipt is in the mail for lifetime maps(that I still haven't heard back). I guess I'll see what they say monday.

    Test units have a Demo license. This is shown with a date on the accept screen. Sometimes prior Beta Tester's may sell their test units (not in accordance with the NDA), or they are stolen.

    If you did the big update accross the internet awhile back, then it is likely you did not get the full download. The license would have been the last thing to download.

    E-Mail me your Name/address (no po boxes)/phone number and I can send you an Updater SD Card to correct the files. Make sure you put a note on the E-Mail as to the reason.
