Do not use t.a tuckstops!!!!

i sur aint the sharpest tool in the shed--but unless youi have a really old truck--the shutdown engine pretection should have cut in before it ran very long--not sure if that would save it or not --but sure shouldnt run to long

 

Most engines have sensors that if the oil pressure is low it will shut the engine down.

 

So, when you started the engine you did not hear the clanking and note the lack of oil pressure on the gauge?

 

I pulled into the TA in Hudson, WI, exit 4 on I-94. Went in to use the restroom and grab a sandwich. I went to the little heated case to grab a cheeseburger or something. All they had were breakfast sandwiches. Ok. It's 2:36 pm. These were made at 4 am. That's over 10.5 hours. That's a long time. So when I asked she said "Oh, the truck drivers want us to keep them out". I said I was one and how can you sell something you made and have sit for 10.5 hours. I got a whatever. Never stopping there again, or any other TA. They are the most overpriced anyway.

 

So you'll never stop at a TA cus one had breakfast sandwiches out?

FYI.... all truck stops are overpriced

You will be going to another TA, you could get someting else and keep it moving, its just another day. I'm pretty sure if you get stuck in traffic for 10.5 hrs you are not going to quit driving all together. Everybody don't let stuff like that bother them, these facilities can't make everybody happy, some drivers might request it stay out there and you might not. Ignore it and keep moving

Sometime we make the simple stuff be a big problem. A lot of things they cook I don't eat, that don't mean I'm going to stop going to TA.
