basically as far as a refrigerator is concered...it has to be able to be plugged into a 12VDC(Volts Direct Current) receptacle...it cant run off of 110 VAC (volts alternating current" they require too much wattage and create power surges in inverters, and sometimes burn out the generator of the Tripac or the truck..... there are alot of options in cooling that run off of the 12 volt system...and can be had from 30 bucks on up to hundreds of dollars...(I seen a nice 12V "refrigerator" at a Petro station on I 95...but I could no make myself part with 280 dollars of hard earned money..

My Coleman 12v cooler has been running for almost a year. I unplug it at night because it will actually freeze everything inside in the colder months. Keeps a constant 40 degrees colder than the ambient temp inside the truck.

I have a coleman but it melted the plug. Didn't help that my trucks plug was loose and shook around a lot. If I go back otr I need to get another plug for it.

If you go back out OTR come see me, I have 2 12Volt refrigerators, one that is the OEM size for the Columbia and a bigger one that came out of a volvo... They both work great, just sitting here collecting dust now, along with 3 CB radios, maps, warmers and all kinds of other stuff...

it also depends if its the weekend if you apply...it might take a couple days...it all depends on the 2 recruiters workload...so hang in there...
