PRIME drivers...What's your 20?

I take IP's point about Schuyler - but NOTHING beats Storm Lake, IA Tyson. NOTHING. Just sit and wait... Thankfully we don't do much there.

I got a load from Cargill at Ft Morgan, CO. First time there and very nice people. Load's going to Maple Heights, OH (Cleveland) for Wednesday. Hours were up at just the right time to stop at the house overnight.

 

Sitting at our 90 waiting to be unloaded. Elizabethtown PA.

Went through some good amounts of snow coming out of IA last night but pressed on and brought us into our 90 with 20 minutes left on my drive clock.


After a smile and a thank you to Tiffany we went from no time for unload to her moving a trailer that was already in a dock so we could back in and get unloaded. She's cute too.

 

Headed out in a bit to Con Agra in Newport, TN. Load going to Assoc. Grocers in SPRIMO. Hate not being able to run 63 thru AR. Mac-27 routing adds about 75 miles (unpaid) up thru St. Louis. Prolly take 412 to 155, then cut across US-60. That means I'll hole up in Jackson tonight and do the rest tomorrow.

 

Originally dispatched to St Louis, but dispatcher forgot he gave me the load and gave it to Simone else. So I got a better one, 3 drops. Dropped my 03 in Louisville, KT, then my 04 in Cincinnati. Made it to a Pilot with 1 min to spare on my eleven. So sitting about 140 miles from my 90 which drops at 6am tomorrow morning in Indiana. Not a huge run, but a good one for my first one on my own.

 

I dunno... its been awhile since I had to wait for anything at Tyson. Maybe Ottawa IL around the beginning of the year. Its been drop n' hooks all the way for the most part. Always liked Ft Morgan.

Still at my 01 in burley id. Plant has been shut down for an accident so i been her 2 days now. Windows gettin tight for a del in ny by friday

 

They'll adjust that once you actually get loaded, but it does suck. Must have been some accident.

left the house around 4am got to the 01 around 8 walked in got the info and a manager came out his office and said "are you del this can i be there today" uh yes its only a 3hr drive he was over excited got to winston salem and they werent expecting me until tomorrow moved my truck twice bc they didnt know where they wanted the load

sent the empty call and no anwer got a call from a fm covering and he said well i guess your fm didnt expect you to drop today no plan on reload so i headed to a near by pilot and in the process got another load
