    I heard from the grapevine that National Carriers, owned by National Beef, was busted for drug smuggling. I dont know the details at all. Anyone know?

    I cannot imagine a board meeting where the powers that be talk about smuggling. Think about it, even if they did, they now have to provide that directive to their drivers.

    I am sure somewhere in this very large country of ours there are a few individuals that take the chance. I highly doubt that it is linked to a specific company or ever will be.

    Probably a driver for Nat'l carriers got busted somewhere, but then the news announces it as if the Corp is smuggling. Just like a pick-up truck driver kills someone, and the news announces it as "the truck driver" etc.

    Don't know about that, but last week I was getting unloaded at a paper plant and a guy from National showed up with a trailer which still had five pallets of beef. He called his company and nobody knew where it came from. What kind of a joke of a company is that? lol
