Of course, in just a couple months, you would know ALL about that with your vast knowledge.

Nice of you to volunteer your entire division to a challenge.... Rather than man up and offer to challenge your own skills.

Hey.... I never got a shirt neither... O well. I hated being in the reefer division. Flatbed is for me.

Did the 2 half day "boot camp" in October. I was refer for 2 years. Camp sucks, what I have leared is from asking every flatbedder I meet. Looking at every flat bed load I see. Every truck stop I seek out loads to look at. How and whys they secured their load. I have leared more in a parking lot in one hour than the "boot camp"!

Your FM will consult with sales and security about where you will park your trailer.

I highly doubt Prime is asking you to find a secure lot on your own.

I went out with a flatbed trainer for 30 days. Gave me a basic understanding of load securement. Ive asked several other flatbedders how to secure different loads. Some loads are very complicated, course so are some of the places we have to go.

Not saying it applies to everyone, but from what I have seen, backing is a problem for several drivers of the flatbad persuasion. I can't think of any other reason for choosing flatbed over reefer. Which is fine. If I had a problem with backing, I would want to be doing it with a flatbed. But before I did that, I'd just learn how to back up instead.
