Alot of companies have break times that are done and are not unions.

Are the Mexicans that you "like" here illegal?

At least the mexicans want to work, unlike the union members who only want a bigger pay check and less work. And at a union warehouse there is no answers just rudeness. Stand in line, wait, get growled at, wait, move to next line, wait, wait, ...

How about hard working non-union American taxpaying citizens? They do exist, you know.

Most of the union shops I saw over the years were overpaid folks who worked harder at avoiding work than actually working.

Patting illegals on the back because you get your truck unloaded faster is shallow, selfish, stupid and very UN-American. Shame on you.

People who hire illegals to save a buck should be deported along with them when it all shakes out. The foundation of this country crumbles under the weight of the greed sitting on it. A foundation that people fought and died for.

I'm far from pro-Union. But break times and lunch times are part of Labor Law. They could be considerate and stagger it, but those folks are entitled to it.

If you know anything about the mexican culture, they hate the illegals just as much as any other hard working american.
I will take a mexican run warehouse any day over a union shop.
No where did I say they were illegal.

The difference between a hard working person, and a union person, the union person goes on break exactly, if not before the appointed time. A non union will finish unloading that one pallet before going on break, then take their break.

Maybe I shouldn't have done a blanket statement. One person did mention he would prefer illegals over union workers. My apology to you.

Mexicans do work harder than their American counterparts, typically.

And from what I have observed over the years, I have never been part of a Union, and never will be. I equate hard work with financial success.

Try C&S in Stockton CA, 4 hours is a short day waiting to get unloaded there.
