A regen A DAY? My system only needs a regen every 40,000 miles or so. That sounds like something is seriously wrong.

40,000 Miles? This must be a different system. Does your truck require DEF?

Something is wrong with the truck if you are required to do it manually.. Does "service DEF system" Come up on the computer?

Have you had your DPF serviced yet?

I only had it from 240000-320000 miles. Regen light was on when I got it, so I ran it, then ran it again around 285000.

So I got my truck back this morning, they cleaned the filter and replaced a "wiff sensor?" Anyway other than the new sensor it's nothing new to this truck so it'll be clogged again soon. Now my update here is the mentioned during testing and troubleshooting something about my inhibitor switch being depressed 4 times but he wouldn't be very clear about when, I was at the shop while they were finishing and they ran a parked Regen after the cleaning and it seemed to take twice as long as normal and I'm thinking that's when the inhibitor switch was "depressed" so I'm thinking the inhibitor switch or the programming in the ECM is malfunctioning telling the computer the inhibitor switch is active, also I know what the inhibitor switch is I'm just curious if anyone else has had a malfunctioning one because he did say he couldn't do anything for it.

WIF = Water in Fuel, bottom of your fuel filter assmebly, typically. Nothing to do with your DPF.

I meant when was the last time your DPF was dis-assembled and cleaned, along with the catalyst unit?

The DPF was removed and cleaned about 10000 miles ago and it just got cleaned out again, they said it was almost 90% full.
