You don't specify a make/model. I'd assume you are trying to say the light flashes.

Follow the air line and it should lead you to the dump valve. Also make sure your load leveler rod isn't bent or out of adjustment.

When you tell me the make, I'll move this thread to "The Garage". You'll get more appropriate views and better replies down there.

I wonder if he is talking about the safety type of crash air bag? I have an idiot light for that in my Volvo.

It's hard to make it out. That's a good point. But working on that system is expensive and one needs to know what they are doing or poof! Dang, I need another airbag! With a red face of course! :)

Airbags are tricky. Unless you want to run the risk of this thing exploding in your face whilst tinkering, take it to a dealer that can see whats up. Could be simple like a loose connection, or something further on down the line.

We'll need more information to make any real suggestions though.

Also just thought of this, was this a used airbag? That might be the issue right there. You should really take it to someone that's very familiar with airbags, they are dangerous, and set off at the cross of the wrong wire. I've worked in 4 shops, and we've always referred airbag issues to the dealer.
