Depends on what they're hauling. Crude was still moving. Sand and water, not so much.
But it's already starting to pick up.
And no, it wasn't just sub contractors that were slow. My husband's company contracts directly with oil co.s and they were really slow, too.

 

Any companies hiring bus drivers to transport oilfield workers? (etc)

 

where do you apply for owner ops in the oil field in ND? anyone know?

 

Service companies Cal frac and Halliburton were recently hiring bus drivers.

 

Start making phone calls. Sounds like you have some homework to do. Search this forum.

 

so these buses transport workers from mancamp to drilling location?

could i get by in the oilfields without having my own personal vehicle up there?

I have two 2012 oil tankers that are ready to be leased. They are tipple axel trailers that haul 10,500 gal. of crude each. Never been used.

Does anyone know who would be interested in leasing these trailers.

Call Wylie Bice trucking in Killdeer. They seem to be taking on trucks regularly. They're in the process of being bought out by Quality Carriers, though. Not sure what that means down the road.

Edit: scratch that. I thought you were trying to lease on trucks and trailers.

 

Do you think the work will pickup in april ? Sounds like it,s a bit slow out there now,according to the post on here. I worked on the strongest horizontal drill rig,threw the 90,s. Driving tankers,drill rigs,etc off road was part of the job also. I should be healed up next month from surgery. Anyone know of a couple of the highest paying co.s, that are looking for an experienced oil field related driver. I have pulled all kinds of trailers,the last few years. I would prefer to get a sleeper truck,then I don,t have to worry about the housing end of it. I,ve been living in a truck,the last 7 years with no residence anyway.
