Curious if any of the trucks have the bright light switch that is on the floor or if they are all on the steering column. I've only used the switch on the floor once and prefer it over the steering column.
Bright light switch?

Older FLD freightliners, petes, and kws..(90's) some still had on the floor..the push for today is ergonomics and safety..It takes less thought to hit a bright switch on the turn signal lever than feel for one on the floor at night with on coming traffic.
BUT..if you own your own truck..whats to stop you from moving it and wiring in a floor switch....not a thing

We just got a 98 International as a yard tractor, with a floor dimmer switch.

Floor switch has a tendancy to act up with crud and corrosion buildup.

My experience with them was back before WD 40 was as popoular as it is now , along with the battery box was under the floor on passenger side.

I don't think the headlights on my Volvo are bright enough for them to need dimming. At least it appears that way from my perspective. But I do dim them, just in case.
