The reason I don't put blame is that some of the states have different parties in control than the federal government.

Granted the credit policies are the result of the federal government, but there are also state reg's too.

I personally see major fault's with both parties. Since this is a free country, I am entitled to my opinion and you and others their's.

I quit eating bread and a lot of other garbage made from processed foods a little while ago. I've lost 50 pounds in two years without breakin' a sweat. I won't be standing in that line, so it'll be at least "everyone minus one".

Yeah, people HAVE to eat, but they can always cut back on grub. If anything, fat bodies in the USA need to do that first instead of cutting back on things like cars, washing machines, whatever.

That just leaves more for the rest of us. While you are out grubbing for roots and berries, the rest of the gang will be eating bread, and maybe a little bit of soup.....

Actually, I've driven past your Home Sweet Silo. It's at Coordinates 42.9 N, 90.0 W, where a former Military Depot once stood in the river valley of Northwestern Illinois.... My Sources at JBHT inform me that you have stockpiled enough old surplus MREs to last until doomsday. That's when we're gonna send ALL 14,000 TRACTORS to your location to weed you out! BWAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU KNEW I WAS AN EVIL RECRUITER!!!

And don't think that our assembly lines are dead either, cuz we'll keep sendin em until we know that you're finished! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! :yes2557::yes2557::yes2557:

    *end ego trip here*

Yeah, yeah. But I do have a land line at times. If JobHunt knows where I am, they'd call me in my bunker during those times and beg me to come drive.

I'm not worried about doomsday nearly as much as the day after doomsday. That's the day I have to go back to work for SwiftQuit.

Wait. You're slipping. What you're telling me is "I, the great Burky, will rely on somebody else to provide me with my bread."

Is this the REAL Burky here? I think you're an imposter. Surely you're not the individualistic, self-reliant, ex-Navy mountain man I knew back in 1971.

While you're standing in that line relying on somebody else, I'll swing by. I'll be the one yelling at your ### to get outta that line and go get your own grub.

Freeloaders, man. Always wanting someone to provide for them.

Aint skeerd of no man... But that blonde over in the hammer lane weaving in and out of traffic, putting on make up, and talking on her phone, worries me a little.

Unfortunately, we have noticed a downturn in LTL in our area. But, that's to be expected with the current state of things.

The issue was simple for me to resolve. I'll be going OTR for 3-4 weeks beginning next week. Come back in, take a look at things. If the freight is coming back up, I'll go back to regional.

While this isn't something I want to do. It's the nature of the beast (trucking). We hit soft spots, we either adapt or do without. I choose to adapt.

Fortunately, I have a job that allows me to adapt. My going OTR for a few weeks allows my local dispatch to relax a bit on load assignments. It's a win-win situation for everyone.
