As a company driver, does Prime tell you the revenue for the loads? That would be important, since Prime pays percentage of revenue to the L/O.

Just ask your FM to let you know what the numbers are. After awhile, my company-side FM just sent them down to me with each load assignment.

All you really need to know is the gross revenue figure. One thing I noticed is while some of those company loads pay pretty well, the majority of them were 10 to 15 percent lower than what I got in my first year on the lease side. Conversations I had with Sazook (before he left and started slackin') indicated the same thing. Contrary to what the nay-sayers post, Prime does do their best to take care of us as the economy allows.

Federal law requires the carrier to give you copies of all billings on the loads you haul on request.

Yeah... for someone who is actually pulling for percentage. The poster's question was as a company driver, can he find out what that load would have paid if he were a lease operator being paid on a percentage? Answer: Yes, I never had a problem getting that while I was an employee.

OTOH, both the rate quoted to the shipper and my share appear on my settlements - along with a copy of the original freight bill.
