1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Doesn't sound that bad, except for the no bennies part. The other matter is, how is their equipment? Ungoverned? (or at least governed to a decent speed?)
Bottom line is, if it works for you then go for it.

Pay is a bit low but sounds like good miles so that's how things usually work. No bennies sounds like a small outfit, make sure they can pay there bills(and your pay) Are those deadhead miles paid?

All things considered, not bad. Only negatives I see, are (again) no benes, and that if you had to take a few days off, you might have to reload all your gear into a truck, or run in a truck without it.
Good thing they're governed to 75, NE can be pretty boring at 65!

My opinion is the pay is too low for not having any benefits

Other than the no bennies it doesn't sound to bad. Will you be picking up and delivering at the same place all the time? If so my concern would be what would happen if the didn't have any loads or if your company lost the contract. Would they be able to find something else for you to do?

th pay's not bad when you consider that's probably 4k or 4500 miles a week. this is they way they do it. the co's with great miles don't pay as much. God forbid any of us actually get ahead in this game!

In general terms you are right. But you know better than to make blanket statements.lol I know of a couple of places where that is untrue. But those places, you typically have to hire an assassin to kill a current driver for there to be an opening.

I'm not saying there isn't a better company or job out there, but our senior driver runs a dedicated run in which he is home weekly for 34-40 hours(not on weekend though) and gets 3760 miles per week. I won't say exactly what he makes, but I'll tell you that it is close to the union pay scale and is higher than the beloved Crete's top driver pay per mile.
