I cant help what they do. All I know is theyve been good to me and gave me a chance to gain experience. What they charge has nothing to do with me. I just get paid by the mile.

I was told at the warehouse they are $740,000 each. They are going to a ship builder on the Mississippi.

These weigh 23,000# each. They are on cradles, and bolted to them. Extremely top heavy and I just have 4 3/8" chains and binders on each one. So far they haven't fallen off.

What does LS have your cargo insurance limit at if you're hauling 2?

No idea, the cargo insurance is paid for by LS (part of the 27% of each load they keep) but I would assume it is covered.

Landstar covers all trucks that haul their loads for $1 million. They deduct like $2 from each load. I would assume they carry $1 million for their own trucks

Not quite true 100,000 cargo unless other arrangements are made. (excess value insurance)

I will have to look up the specifics once I get back home. They gave me information on it a while back.
