Meh...not a big fan of the exterior. I do like the new dash a lot though. The 660 was a fleet truck, but it still had the class of the large cars. This 680 looks like they are going more towards the fleet look, but like the 660, I'm sure it will grow on me in time.

Well made my candy delivery this morning in bakersfield. 4 hours later it is time to deal with OS&D. 1 cs of kit kats crushed. At first hershey wanted it taken to ontario, but Stevens thought that was too far for one case. 3 hours later I am finally told to dispose of the case.
So here I am at the 24/7 as bruces is closed. Pick up tommorrow at bolt house. -
Shiftylots Thanks this.

Repowered this load in El Paso. Here at HEB for 2200 delivery.
Preplan: Pickup in Laredo as soon as I can get there and haul to Salem.
whoo hoooo.
Nice run.
thought I had a so so month, but went back over it and did OK.
As for the 680? Talked with Max about it. He says it's basically the same except the roofline now resembles the 700. You can stand up in it up front now.
New dash layout.
Air dams and some of the edges smoothed out. -
But can't see driving any where, as I delivered to the warehouse right beside the parking lot for the 24/7, and pick up 1/4 mile down the street in the morning.
January was 9184 miles paid,
Febuary was 7446 miles paid,
March is 12087 miles paid...
And then it is off to Cedar Falls again. I wonder what I70 is looking like? Probably just run I80 anyway. -
Can anyone help me with info on going to stevens transportation? Do u get miles as a new driver after training?
-
New drivers get loads with extra time. It gives you a buffer for the learning curve.
As you prove yourself, that you are able to pick up and deliver on time, your loads will improve, and so will the miles.
During Grad Fleet (your first three months solo), you can expect around 2200 to 2300 miles per week.
By six months, that should be in the 2,500-2,600 neighborhood, and by the end of your first year, you can be around 2,800 to 2,900 or more.
Hope that helps.Dieselten77, Corporal_Clegg and razzle dazzle Thank this. -
razzle dazzle Thanks this.
