Dont go OTR if you have a CDL

Drtydiesel hang in there and get as much expierence as u can and talk to the owner ops you can make good money two to three times as what u can local and have more freedom as a owner op ot takes alot but well worth it especially if your already pulling a skate boadrd

 

I don't knock OTR drivers. To the contrary I have great respect and admiration for what they do and all the crap they put up with. It's a harsh lonely lifestyle and a thankless job imo. And god knows our country would crumble without them. But the bottom line is always the same. Show me the money. Show some respect. Act like you give a ####. Don't expect me to drive 18s for less money than what pothead pizza delivery drivers make. Otherwise we might organize. Sign petitions and stage a nationwide strike or sumthin. LOL

 

I hear ya man. My dream is to have my name on the side of my truck with LLC or something like that behind it

Thatz it and the drivers that are owner ops need to park there truck for a day and not move . that would help the industry alot its bad because all our expences ate going up nd freight is payong the same as it did 20 years ago

 

I did but I've changed my mind after talking to a few drivers. I asked my uncle about it and he said its not the same as it used to be. Walmarts a great company but there are certain thing I don't care for about them.
