    Good Luck with new customer..
You will need a long set of blocking or ramps. This will allow the rear to raise in time before hitting the back deck..
Figure from rear of unit to the center of rear tires and then build up your ramps to raise up the rear when backing up.

They may not have docks but I gurrantee there is a place in town with a dock more than willing to let the fire department use it to unload.

I do not have any pictures of loads since I'm not hauling any right now but here's a picture of a tiny frog that hopped in through the open window and was trapped in a bag of empty beer bottles.

As soon as you educate you client about this you shoot yourself on the foot.
There is no loyalty , they then farm the work out to the cheapest clown.

Just make sure that there is sufficient clearance that when you hit a bump the underside of the fire engine does not bottom on the rear bridge.
especially if it is on air and dumps the air.
We would sometimes block the suspension when we did this type of load to make sure there was no movement.

It gets better. I put the frog outside last night and my rootmate found this in the window well chasing a much larger frog this morning.
