I seem to be attracting the drivers who have their stereos on pretty loud, then don't turn them down when they shut the engine down. If there is room, that will cause me to move.

Idyosyncratic, yes. But I don't care to listen to some other persons radio.

I'm just spit balling here because I have no idea why, but something occurred to me as I read these posts. If the driver is pulling up as you park it means they are in the drivers seat. It might be possible they had not fully got parked and stopped as a courtesy to you. Then once you got stopped they finished. I have did this several times. I am not trying to pick a fight with my comments, but some drivers ignore those flashing 4ways a lot, that's if the parking driver actually uses them.

These drivers were already parked. It was about 15-20 min after I parked that they pulled forward.
As for moving while someone else is trying to back next to me...NO WAY! I get really angry at disrespectful drivers who feel the need to move out while I am trying to back so I won't do it to others. I think I feel a new "rules" thread coming on!:biggrin_25525:

do they pull up as you come to park if so it is a way to make it easier for you to get in. If you are already parked maybe you have a noisy apu or exhaust or an air drier the spits five times a minute(that drives me crazy) or one of those noisy fan hubs on and off every few minutes kinda like the air drier thing

    Everett Thanks this.

Repeating the list, and adding a few.

    Exhaust from your truck.

You blocked my breeze that I had.

Don't want you looking in my truck, for stuff to steal.

Don't want your reefer right beside my head, all night.

    You're blocking my view.

I dont' have a TV on my truck. So the parking lot is my entertainment.

Unless some young female driver wants to park beside me and put on a show :biggrin_25525:

I remember one day in Dallas about a week ago. My reefer had a loose belt and was making a heck of a loud noise. I backed in to a parking spot at the TA. A driver motioned for me to roll down my window, he asked me if I was going to be there all night. I said no I was on my way to a pickup. The driver said he was about to go to sleep and wanted me to know that reefer belt would not last long. I did take it to TK and they tightened the belts. I had another bad reefer belt in Knoxville TN a few months ago, dang belt was slapping against metal and making a very loud sound. I could hear that thing from across the parking lot too. I called breakdown and told them to get me a repairman en route before I got hung. After a while we reefer drivers get used to them, but I have seen drivers (adjust) their parking after I have parked beside them.
