Who'd you hire on with? It must not be OD, because they take weeks to say you're hired!!

at LST i was working to the last min of my 11 and 14 almost every day so rest didnt happen much anyway lol. I will have an dedicated route, both open routes couldnt be easyer, neither route will ever see a single snow flake either.
Thanks i hope i like it too lol
I was hopeing to go the route you took but i cant get on with any of the fuel companies till after at least september (when i turn 23)
I'll be home everynight and weekends.
I know its sad, a few years ago there were 15+ big time guys makeing videos non stop, and its down to just a few of us, and now im out lol.
no way to much BS to get into a truck with them (also have to be 23)
Thanks!ok ok ok Y'all have convinced me (wasnt hard to do lol) i will start another blog BUT this will be a general blog not company spacific.

so yesterday when i MT'ed out i took my truck to HQ (fort worth) to drop off my truck, since i couldnt make it to gainesville until saturday and there wont be anyone there or anyway for me to get to Dallas to get a rental car.
I took a cab from the terminal to a hotel since i had been awake since 0230am and it was now 6:30PM and i already drove 656 miles i wasnt going to make it to NC after that and only haveing 2 hours sleep thurday night.
Cab to the Hotel: $56
Hotel: $53
Cab to DFW Sat morning: $20
Rental Car: $379.53
Gas: $149.03/39.75gallons
---------------------------------------
Total cost to quit: $657.56
Anyway so this morning i got up at 0430am and went to DFW to get a rental car, then drove 1041 miles from Fortworth, TX to Charlotte, NC in 16 hours and 45min. Got to the Charlotte Airport to drop off the car at 11:45pm and wasnt ever tired, clearly the DOT made a good call with the 11 hour rule

Congratulations on the new opportunity and chapter in your life!
Please don't stop blogging about your trucking and life experiences. I enjoy reading your posts and consider it one of the 'must do' things I do on the web every couple of days. You may think that your new job will be the most common, mundane tasks every day, but it probably won't, because unexpected things will happen.
It's important that people see the nature of blue collar work and trucking and you have a gift at telling the story of the daily grind in a good, entertaining manner. Your reach is probably bigger than you think, you only need to look at the view counts on your threads.
Don't stop now! Continue telling the story. Heck, it entertains the heck out of me...American-Trucker Thanks this.
