perfect, screw prime, call Millis Transfer, they have a school too, 4 weeks with a trainer, much better trucks KW's, and allot better of a company to work for then prime, good money there too. Lots of Millis drivers on here that post, plenty of info on the company

Ummm... Not exactly. Teams can run over 5000 miles a week, depending on freight. Prime pays a garantee of $600 a week MINIMUM. Anything over 5000 miles a week is paid at 12cpm, which is MORE than $600 a week. You PAY NOTHING to Prime as long as you stay a year. You stay at least 1 year YOU OWE NOTHING.

    Everett Thanks this.

I was looking at Millis a few days ago and yes, it does look great. I think I read somewhere though that you are required to pay $500 out of pocket at least up front. Sad as it may sound, that's just not an option for me either right now.

Call them anyway and explain your situation. They have made exceptions for some people in the past and fronted them the $500 and just roll it back into the tuition. It's worth a try. Millis is a good company to start with.

Yeah, I may have to call. Tried emailing them, but I get some error and it won't go through.

Sorry to derail this thread with non-Prime talk. Prime is still my number 1 choice as it appears to be no upfront cost.
