Do Not Drive For Usa Truck

That is the sinister thing about OTR. There is no law that requires a company to pay you anything but miles so what do they care if you sit around waiting for that better paying load 2 days away instead of eating the dh to another load.

Rumor mill has it that Celadon is buying USA. They (Celadon) just bought out Tango in TN. Any truth to the rumor?

 

Celedon actually is selling all of the USA stock it bought. They are no longer interested in buying USA Truck

 

Thx to all here who posted, I am starting classes with Driver Solutions(USA Trucking) on April 9th. I have read a lot about all of the companies and schools, and since I live in Ky, I think USA will be a good fit. Your job is what you make of it also!!! It sure beats flipping crappy burgers somewhere, LOL

your job is what you make of it, until you have a FM who cares less about you and ruins your day on a daily basis. You're just a number, and will learn like I did and everyone else. Get your year and stay or go. Some people are happy with big Companies, and some aren't. Me, I wasn't with either of the 2 I was at. Now I work for a company with about 10 trucks, and I know the boss on a personal level...Not 400 people who work under him and tell him what he wants to hear, meanwhile taking advantage of the drivers.

 

Sounds about like most jobs out there. I live in a very small town, with very few jobs that no one can get unless you know someone else and that's about how life is most of the time!!! I am 41 and I have been working since I was 15, I know how to handle a bunch of B.S. for a year. I hope the job works out for longer, but if it doesn't, oh well, there are more out there! Glad you got a great job, you sound quite happy and I hope it works out!!!
