I used to drive an old F series Mack cab over.
No Air con but there was a vent that you could open up behind the pedals.
This would give you a nice blast of air going up between you legs (sorry no other way to explain).
When they re spray painted the cab they did not think it necessary to re fit the mesh screen at the vent.
All was well till one day I road in to a swarm of bees.
I had one hand resting on the mirror brackets and git stung on the hand.
I also had about twenty angry injured bees blasted up my shorts.
    Only two sting luckily.
The whole wind screen was covered in a sticky honey like substance.

Mineral spirits in a spray bottle knocks wasps down and they die in about 15 secs.

Cheaper than wasp spray, same main ingredient - petroleum distillates.

I am wasp killer every spring. They like to nest around the house and vehicles.

If they'd just nest in the woods I'd be happy to let them catch their prey in my yard.

I had a huge spider by the front door and I'd catch crickets and things and put them in her web and she'd run over and roll them up in silk.

Also got some big red ants I drop grasshoppers and grubs to and they yank 'em down their holes and I guess have a fiesta.

    Nature's awesome.
