Or, are Approved Carriers only allowed to call Landstar Agents for loads? -

2. Yes -
Flatbed loads have dropped to less than 1.90 per mile in the last week for open loads posted on boards, was checking earlier and a few were 1.58 per mile. I was laughing thinking someone would be stupid enough to haul steel for that rate, but then some with junk can afford it.

Even if I had junk I wouldn't haul for that ! Who can??

Paper machine roll from Stow Woodward, nothing more than a huge steel rolling pin covered with a rubber coating.
About 55k for the load weight, that was a baby roll. -
Im stuck in baltimore maryland missing easter with my kids ...stuck in a truckstop ...and the loads out here are less then 2 bucks a mile why do people still take the loads so cheap i dont get it ..as long as people take them there not going to hike the rates ....any tips good companys insights Iam just stuck

I know two people that have old rigs, look as new. They have no payments on the tractor or trailer since they rebuilt them, they bring home around 125k after all is paid.
Problem is there are too many midnight haulers with junk on the road and that is the loads most let go. -
