a student can get the "glory of the miles" if they prove to be responsible drivers and decide to become trainers themselves... remember about paying dues??

 

think what you want... i have trained many drivers who are still on the road today and call me up occasionally to ask questions or talk

 

it is easy to call someone a liar... not so easy to accept the fact that you might not be flexible or smart enough to succeed

 

are college students known for paying bills and having money? you need to start somewhere...

That's how we do it. They are there to learn from you, not team drive.

 

I drove for Werner for 1.5 years. It's a tough go. But I made 50k my first year. I kept calling driver placement until they put me on a Perdue Chicken dedicated. Then I got 3000 miles a week and started making some money. Plus, I never went home!

It can be done. Just gotta find a way.

Sounds like you have yourself well established within the company. The attitude issues goes for all jobs in any given situation. I feel many on here would face many of the issues they face in trucking in any career
