It's actually quite EASY to hit the side of a building, much like running over a parked car, NO ONE GET'S OUT AND LOOKS, they take things for granted, they will "make it".

Even if it IS a troll posting, I find it funny. Let's just all take it as a troll posting, and have some fun with it. No need for any of us to raise our blood pressures, now is there??

But, on the OUTSIDE chance this is a legit posting??

To many facts WERE left out. (such as previous incidents, or an attitude problem, etc, etc). In (I would think) many instances, "a simple scrape" would NOT get someone fired, but at least yelled at.

UNLESS again, at that particular customer, this HAS HAPPENED before, and they are fed up with the incompetence of some drivers, and the truck owner wanted to eradicate himself of a incompetent driver, before he loses the account??

    Some "variables" do apply here.

Problem with that idea is that once you are fired, you are no longer authorized to drive that vehicle. If you take it upon yourself to move the vehicle, you can be charged with "unauthorized use of a motor vehicle"...and that's if they don't hit you with a theft of motor vehicle charge.

It is NEVER a good idea to drive any vehicle you are not authorized to drive. Your former boss is already ticked off at you enough to fire you on the spot & leave you stranded. You're nuts if you think he won't press charges if you do something stupid in retaliation.

So, if you're legit, then tell us what company this is so that none of us end up filling your old position?

Like someone said earlier, have either cash or a credit card to get home on.

I've always been a firm believer in traveling light. The more stuff you clutter up the truck with, the more stuff you have to clean out.
