It's one of our local trucks, IIRC.

Hey Brian, I found that Zephyr Pro 40 polish is much easier to work with. It takes a lot less elbow grease to wipe off the black film than the Blue Magic. After I dropped my trailer in Ottawa Thursday night Craig asked if I still had the hours to book it up to Bolingbrook to get the last Des Moines load for the day. Now if he was unable to see my hours I would've lied my ### off and said "sorry Charlie, no hours left so I'll just call in the morning" since RR Donnelley is a nightmare. Surprisingly when I rolled in there the place was a ghost town with only a few trucks roaming around. Much to my surprise I was loaded in 2 hours and found the last spot out on the street to catch some sleep. When I rolled into Des Moines Friday afternoon Dale called and asked if I wanted to do a load to Milwaukie, OR for Wednesday which I gladly accepted! Guess my wife's honey-do-list of yard work will have to wait another week! I was really hoping that that the first part would be loaded when I rolled into Storm Lake so I could atleast get to Sioux City before my time was up but no such luck. The guard finally called my around 0045 saying that it was done so I hooked onto it and went and hid on the side street behind Sara Lee. The second part of the load was coming from Madison, NE and that only took an hour to get on board. Since I had so much time on this load I decided to stop in Ogallala, NE and stay with my mom for the night for a good home cooked meal and raid her laundry room. I had planned on getting up early Sunday morning to fold everything and get it packed up in my duffel bag, but when I walked upstairs I found that she had already folded and packed my laundry! Sheesh, I don't even get that kind of service at home! And I hope that you guys are jealous that I had snow yesterday in Wyoming. Luckily it wasn't cold enough to stick, it was just snowing pretty good and being blown all over the place. As much of you have already noticed, the retiree's are out if full force pulling RV's and driving motor home's that are clearly to large for their skill set. I had a pretty scary incident on Saturday morning on my way to Madison. I was WB on US 20 going through Willis, NE when I saw a pickup pulling a travel trailer pull up to the edge of the gas station parking lot and come to a stop so I figured they saw me coming but I still kept an eye on them. When I was MAYBE 40 yards from them they casually pulled out onto the highway causing me to lock up my brakes and steer it into the turning lane all the while blowing my air horn at them. When I finally got stopped I was close enough to them that I could look down into the pickup and see that the guys wife was "navigating" for him with a point of a finger to take the highway going up to Ponca State Park and they didn't even notice that I was there. Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention that they pulled in front of a bull wagon that was coming the other direction too. You guys have a good week and I'll check ya later!

I was just thinking the exact same thing. Did the two pick up deal in Salem, OR & Kennewick, WA last week for Hawkeye in Danville, IL. All in all a pretty easy run minus the blizzard in Pocatello on Thursday night. Have a good week everyone!

I've had a nagging check engine light for the last couple of months that would go away for awhile, then come back for longer. On more than off, basically. All I got for a fault code was "See operator's manual". Of course the operators manual had #### all to say about it.

Finally got it diagnosed. I needed a new SCR Catalyst. It's the left of the two big barrels that you can see when you look under the sleeper from between the truck & trailer. Took about 4 hours for Sioux Falls KW to pull it and replace it.

So for those of you with KWs in the 250,000ish mile range, you might have that coming down the pike.

Delivering floor loaded bulk potatoes to White Pigeon, MI in the morning. Going to take pictures and video of them lifting my trailer on a 45 deg angle to dump them all out...if they let me.

    Then home, hopefully.

Well my truck had no dash lights(the second time) and thanks to a rock in Ct. last week, a nice 8" crack right in my view, imagine. Hopefully all is repaired/replaced tomorrow. Hey Saienga where did you p/u those potatoes? That should be wild, tilting the trailer to unload. Be safe all.

    Happy Trails

Loaded the spuds in Royal City, WA at a place called blue sky.

I'm in line watching the noses of the trailers appear over the top of the building. Glad they don't keep us attached, I'd be digging pens and chapstick and crap out from under my bunk for weeks.
