I've read this in a notice posted at the dispatch, saying that those spots reserved for LCV at service stations will cost you 2 points if you park thereAnd MTO inspection vehicle might go into service stations to enforce this??? I am even told that doubles do not count as LCV, LCV can only be two 53" trailers.
I don't know, but I guess they are serious here, since we have more and more LCV, the LCV season is back on... And really those guys can't go anywhere other than parking on the side of the ramp of a service station, side of the road that kinda thing...
Have they busted anyone for that yet? I mean 2 points for parking that's a lot!![]()

I would have to agree with it. Obviously the 'park on your honor' where your supposed to thing hasn't been working. Thus the bigger deterent. Ever since doubles and triples have come into existence, parking for these things has been a problem. How would you like to be the driver that pulls into the service area and has to go potty something desperate, or is starving for a burger and a coffee only to find that 4 regular trucks are taking up 2 double spots ? I'd be pretty p-o'ed. Most of us DO play by the rules, but over the last 20 years, I've seen more and more 'cowboys' who make up their own rules as they go just to suite them. I had quite a conversation with one such cowboy one day on the CB at the southbound mile 24 on 95 in Maine many years ago ..... but that's another story.
Park where you're supposed to, or move onto the next plaza.

-
nothing it was just a spelling mistake I think
-
I thought Dermit was a frog on Seasame Street ? Or is he an Irish folk singer ? Or is that Kermit and McDermont ...... ?
Aaaahhhh ...... I'm always confused , and some of you just love throwing camp fuel on the fire !!

I can't see gettin points over parking. especially since its not on provincial property. I dont doubt tho that they are gonna be high fines
-
I am almost certain the service stations are provincially owned.
-
Yeah I think the service stations are owned my Ontario as well.. They are the ones re-doing them to update them.. It's on the Ontario sites and everything..
-
They better start ticketing guys with single trailers for taking pull through spots then. Also 4 wheelers and cube vans and bobtails who take big truck spots.
This is garbage..
If I only stopped where I was " allowed " to , I'd have died from dehydration - starvation - ruptured bladder - falling asleep behind the wheel - long ago ....
I'm surprised I'm allowed to drink from the same water fountain as the general public anymore.. And I pull b-trains.
