Whatever you want to call them... Student or trainee... They all HAVE to team eventually during the "training phase"

B C & D all do 40k team miles minimum. D seats are students and they get a 10k miles credit when they upgrade to B seat for their time on the instructors truck.

Better trucks than Prime. Are you blind or what.LMAO.This guy knows everything about every company he has never worked for.And from what I can see he doesnt stay at any of the companies that he has worked for for very long.I wouldnt take any advice that he has to offer on anything. You ask the drivers at any particular company your going to apply for.Thats how you get the insight into the particular company your thinking of.A company that might not be good for me,might be good for you and vice versa. Its kind of like a shoe.I work for a training company and I believe its a good one.But there are people on this forumn that would tell you their a BFI.Not in my opinion,do you see what Im saying.Good luck to you.The more training you get the better in my opinion.

Well that's why I leave that stuff to you! Still not sure what I'd do with the dead bodies!

BTW there is no getting out of the training phase (teaming with a trainer) except to quit.

    Ask my last trainee.

No trainer would be wiling to be paid "trainer miles" on a truck running solo loads. Trainer pay is less than solo pay... It's the team miles that make the pay worth while.

My last trainee was given the option of another trainer. After describing what kind of pace he wanted to run (truck parked for at least 8 to 10 hours a day for his "rest full sleep) the new trainer told him he wouldn't take him and that he should stick with me and "suck it up and get some sleeping pills to get some rest on a moving truck"

Can't say I agree with that last part.

But you didn't leave it for me... Or one of the other trainers. You felt the need to comment again on things you are not quite sure about or just plain false.

Your not a trainer, you've never trained a trainee. (at Prime)

Im not a lease operator, and I've never leased a truck.

In these two areas, which of us has shown more to the other in courtesy?

He knows the deal. It's not the first time.

Yes, he is a wealth of info and a decent guy...

He's done this before and "in my opinion" or "if I recall" don't help anyone if the information is wrong.

Maybe he can remind everyone of the topic where he was "joking" and trying to "scare" the newbs. He knows... The one where he told them they could get fired. The resulting mea culpa after I called him out was pretty flippant.

Every "student" WILL team train at Prime with a trainer. It's a fact. They won't do it classified as a student, but will do it for sure when they upgrade to B. Cant get to A without going through B.

At least I will call you out here in the open. I'm not saying anything about those others that some of their "online friends" have said in PM
