It's a duel final radio and when you convert it for cb, the tech will bump up the output.

Now if you wanna really spend some money, look at some of the high end Ranger and Galaxy radios. Some of them do 200 watts out of the box.

What the heck, they keep changing my #### appointment for delivery. Before I picked up the load it was at 0700 4/10. Then after I picked it up it changed to 1000 4/10. Just noticed that its been changed to 0900 4/10.... Good thing I didn't take my time heading down here today...

Just get there whenever LOL. The place will probably say, "we don't make appointment times, it's first come first serve"

Are you on workflow? If so, the ETA will adjust itself based on the time you pick up.

What you've described sounds like it updated itself based on your departure from p/u. This is normal when there is no firm appointment. And then was corrected to reflect an appointment being set by CS.

I hate not having "all" the information regarding a load. And the loads that don't have appointments "yet". Drive me nuts.

You go to bed, get up. Look at the QC and wonder WTF just happened.

It wouldn't take 20 seconds for someone/anyone to fire off a message stating you need to stay in it, as CS will be setting your appointment while in route.

But what do I know. I'm just a dumb truck driver.

I really need to pay closer attention to this stuff. Doing it correctly, the load I just delivered should have taken12 hrs driving (figure with 50mph) .5 for pretrip, .5 to 1hr for drop and hook with inspections for both mt and loaded pu. , 15 min fueling, required 1 hr break after or at 8 hrs driving, 4, yes I said 4 , hrs to unload 20 pallets.

if you EVER go to drop at Roundy's in oconomowoc, wi make sure you read and account for all times in trip planning. make sure you have a good 6-7 hrs left on your 14 when you arrive. Place is a zoo. took an hour 45 just to get a door. then he took his sweet time getting it unloaded too. think he broke each pallet doen, or took a break or something.

I will certainly refuse or adjust my times for a load like that in the future. HOS violation to get to safe haven.

I don't know if you're quoting actual times or what you logged but I generally only show 15 minutes for my initial pretrip, 5-10 minutes for each drop/hook, and 5-8 minutes for fueling. Otherwise I would burn thru my 70 like a kid thru his Easter candy. Also I don't believe that the 1 hour after 8 hours of driving rule is in effect yet (I also thought it was a half hour off duty after 8 consecutive hours of driving). Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The Oconomowoc Roundys will let you on the property 4 hours before your appointment time and will let you stay on the property 4 hours after you're unloaded. I generally get there about three hours before my appointment, let them take 3-4 hours to unload, then finish my DOT break on the property.

Most of the things like how long u can stay on the property you'll figure out once you've been to the customer several times. Ops and CS don't know because most of this you find out by talking to se uriry or reading signa. Source used to have some info, and in time wf will too.
