so today i followed my dad to a shop so he could drop the truck off, to have the frame straightend, then we went to a junk yard to pickup a few parts.
THEN! best part;
So i've owned my F-250 for 3 years, the passenger window never worked, and i never cared enough to fix it since i dont sit on the side so not my problem, and my ac is ICE COLD lol. But today i deceided since i was bored i would spend the $40 and spend 15 min of my life, replaceing the Window motor, its nice haveing a working window lol, i'm sure my freinds will appreciate the newly working window lol

]its a local job, i dont care what there trucks look like, i no longer have to live in it, i'll only be spending 9-10 hours a day 5 days a week in it. As for the terminals, again i dont care i'll be in the truck on the road. I have freinds that have worked at this particular terminal the confirmed the money being as good as they said. So for that kinda money to get me off the road to have a life sounds like a good deal to me.
Also you must have not seen all the BRAND NEW ProStars they have (still crap IMO but still NEW lol)
good luck to you. You are still young and can handle it. -
LOL...I've had my Mack for 3 years & 11 months. The ENTIRE time I've owned it, the driver's side door hasn't exactly lined up right. I finally got fed up enough with it yesterday that I took the 5 minutes to pull 2 shims out of the top hinge and put one of 'em in the bottom hinge. Now the door actually closes without having to force it.
It was the same way with the cruise control on my F250...quit working, and it started draining the battery if I left the truck sit. Drove it around like that for almost 2 years before I spent the $20 for the switch on the top of the master cylinder....took all of 30 seconds to swap out.
Why is it the EASIEST fixes are usually the ones that take the longest to get around to doing?American-Trucker Thanks this. -

When you go to orientation you'll see it in the employee parking area, basically the only car amongst all the pickups.

i'm not getting paid by the mile, the routes have an assinged Flat Rate, and we get paid by the hour as well, worst case i should clear $50,000. And i'm 22, and their benifits are cheap and are better then any company i've ever worked for (with the exception of Cardinal Health for ovious reasons lol)
