We use TripPak and Transflo scanning stations at truckstops. Transflo applications are available for iPhone and PC platforms as well - you'll need an internet connection and scanner for that. In addition, the newer QualComm terminals can be used for in-truck scanning as well. The MIS system sends a message back to your QualComm after the trip report has been logged into the system.

By little, I mean 5'8" or 5'10" (I forget) and under 140lbs. And yes, I prod him daily to EAT.

Well, I heard back from my recruiter and was told that my application was declined due to more qualified applicants being available at this time. She told me to try again in a couple of months. Is there a better time to apply then others coming out of the state of Fla?

It depends mostly on the number of applicants - fewer applicants would increase your chances. Really, all you can do is keep on trying.

Your home location has a lot to do with it - if you could move north of I10 or get a mailing address up there, you'd probably be "more qualified." It has to do with the amount of freight that we move in South Florida.

Thanks IP, I really want to train and work for Prime so I'll just keep trying. I plan on moving my home address to Nevada but that would be after working for Prime a year or so. I was a transportation officer in the USAR for fifteen years pulling fb and tankers. I think that Prime is definitly a good fit for me.

So Prime doesn't come into Fl that much? That is gonna be tough for my husband to get home time then huh? His trainer is from TN.

Actually we do run into FL quite a bit - we have floral accounts that load out of Miami; a lot of OJ out of Ft Myers, Bradenton; banannas out of Tampa. Its just that they don't want to hire too many folks out of FL so the lane doesn't get saturated.
