Yeah nti won't hold your hand. A guy in my group was horrible at shifting, he still passed cuz he could do everything else fine. He actually works for roehl now lol

And that's what some people require. If you need your hand holded during everything little thing you learn or attempt to learn then this profession isn't going to be easy for you. Not that you can't adjust, just it will be a challenge. Luckily after a month or so of doing this you get alittle more confident then you were at school.

    DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

That's true. I'm 6 months in and now I drive this without thinking, I shift like its natural to me. In school I did okay, but much better on my own. Nice not having someone watch you lol

How was the course for NTI? That is the one thing that looked really nice. They advertise that very well!

You do the online classes which are great cuz I actually did them while I was working at my previous job since we had internet there lol.

Then after that you set up a training date. The first day of training your in a truck backing or on the shifting track. It 7am-530pm. 7-730 was pre trip, 730-11 was whatever you were doing that day. 11-1130 was lunch. Then then 1130-330 you were in the trucks again. Then 330-530 was classroom time. Learning log books and all that jazz.

    It was great lol
