I am very strict to maintain 57 mph. Very rare do I have a load that has to be expedited any faster.
My truck also has alot of mechanical fuel mileage modifications.

Just finished a Wild Run from Spartanburg, SC to Akron, OH with an empty tanker and returned with a heavy 48' van tool trailer from Canton, OH to Mt. Airy, NC with mountain grades both directions on WV turnpike and a head wind going north.
My Wild runs can't compare to each other since they are all different trailers, weights, directions, etc... 9.01 mpg was not bad considering mountain grades. I still maintain my speed of 57 mph.
My running average since I installed the EcoTaz Eco-5 is 9.13 mpg that is real close to the same as my IFTA 1st quarter of 9.16 mpg before I installed the EcoTaz Eco-5.
Still not any noticeable difference in performance or fuel economy using EcoTaz Eco-5, but that does not mean there isn't a minor gain in fuel mileage the driver can't feel or notice.
Note: For those interested in the NASTC Fleet One fuel program the cash pump price $540.29 as pictured and the NASTC price to me is $508.97 for a savings of $31.32 on just this one fuel up.Last edited: Apr 14, 2012

interesting results

I would say if you averaged that mileage on I-77, that is amazing mileage. Even with empty up, there are some big hills, and with 48k back, I would have expected to see 7 something at best.
