OK I have had two different recruiters call me from JBS. One said she was from Gainesville, GA and one named Tonya did not give a location.
Can someone currently working for JBS give an truthful answer about the BMI tests? I have been out of the business on a full time basis for 10 years. I have the requirements needed for driving time however.
Please just CORRECT information, no Crybabies or Used to Be's. -

Me I had 33.9, and 17.5 inch neck, but my build is muscular and not flabby so. If I was more flabby they could have tested me, but they didn't.
So what's your bmi? You can check it by going to a bmi calculator, and as I said in previous post. If you do some dieting b4 you get there you can slip under the radar as well. They do give you a 6moth physical card, and time to get insurance so they can pay for the testing, but if I were you and if possible I would do my best to shed weight that way. You won't have to take the 2 or so weeks it takes to get the down load from the Cpap machine. -
Thanks for "What I ask for" response. -
JBS does their own physical. The doctor will ask if you had any sleep apnea issues or if your medical card has been shortened such as 6mo/1 yr type. On the JBS physical form there is a place where the doctor has to put your neck size, and your bmi which is your height and weight.
This is the first time I have ever seen that on a physical form and I have been getting physicals since high school.
It also ask the physical appearance because bmi doesn't take into effect that you may be a body builder who weighs over 300 lbs and you are 6 ft tall. So the Doctor would not suggest you take the test more then likely, and if you did take it. You would more then likely pass anyway. But still a sleep study is time wasted and you will get a bill for what the insurance doesn't pay.
