Cool I didn't know if the crawl under the truck to see if the dpf is still there or not. And this egr is bull crap. The 5.9 got way better fuel mileage

The 6.7 is a way better engine, just work like its supposed to be worked and you wont have any trouble.

I know many with the 6.7 and they would kill for a 5.9.

After they get alot of miles on them, they start having some strange problems.

    chalupa Thanks this.

Ya alot of the trucks that were deleted had some weird problems.

I know of quite a few stuck with a 5.9 that wish they could upgrade to the 6.7.

I have run both doing hotshot work .O6 Ram 3500 had 200,000 on the OD 5.9 was OK The 6.7 is a beast of another color. The truck I use every day is a O8 3500 with 258,000 on the OD pulls a 40 ft. gooseneck .NO deletes , The only problem is the turbo sooting up. The 6.7 and the 5.9 mpg is the same pulling that gooseneck with pipe on it.The difference is the 6.7 power band never ends.

A friend has an 08 and he has had 5 turbos. They keep sooting up.

I think he has about 600,000 on it.
