Well, having read the entire thread, and not having a dog in the hunt, I can see where Ben could be a little frustrated. You guys have seen several respected O/O'S test Ben's product with what they see as favorable results. I would assume then that you are calling Ben and the O/O's doing the testing liars. I can't see where you are coming from other than you are afraid of being proven wrong. I see nobody, as of yet, believing they were duped. You haven't invested a dime yet you want this guy's head. Why don't you sit back and watch how this plays out instead of raining on everybody's parade. To be honest, i was as skeptical as the next guy when i first started reading but i will continue to see what happens over the course of this thread. I would hope many of those who purchased this product as a result of reading this thread will chime in with their results as well, seeing that they are actually the only ones who really have skin in the game. They laid out cash.

Even if the system was irrefutably effective , there is no way Dice will get the same % gain as a less efficient set up.

I think it is way to early to call this one.
Let the test run its course.

Here is what I averaged for ten fill ups before the Eco: 5.668
Here is what I averaged for ten fill ups after the Eco: 5.273
Here is what I averaged last year at this exact same time on ten fill ups: 5.046
If I take the fill up off on the crate that I mentioned above my avg goes up to 5.3
Last years number might be low do to the fact that my engine was rebuilt forty days prior.

    I agree 100%

I am going to leave the eco on for two more weeks and see where the numbers are then. If they are still low I will pull it off and run for two weeks and see if my mileage goes back up. I am disapointed that I lost .395 when comparing ten fills before and after.

I've asked several times for proof positive, which is to run two identical dyno tests on the same truck and measure the fuel consumed - one with the device installed, and one with the device absent. ECOTAZ has so far remained silent regarding my challenge, and for good reason. He knows that such a test will prove the device to be ineffective.

That's the thing, I would LOVE to see a product such as this be successful, but only if it actually works! The first experience that I've had with such devices was back in the '70s, during the oil embargo and 'shortage'. They didn't work then despite the manufacturers' outlandish claims, and I suspect they don't work now.

All I'm asking for is a controlled test as proof of effectiveness. The O/Os that are testing the device are reporting an improvement, and I believe that they are seeing one. But until it's proven that it's the DEVICE that's responsible for the improvement instead of changed driving habits, environmental differences between runs, differences in fuel from one batch to the next, (I could go on listing variables ad infinitum...), then ECOTAZ's unverified claims are just that - unverified.

It's on the list, but the only diesel that I currently own is a 1986 Mercedes 300SDL. I'm sure that Ben will say that his product only works on class 8 trucks.

I also notice you list yourself as a 43 year old student. Just curious as to what you were getting for mpg on the tri-cycle in the 70's? Unless, of course, you are trying to lead us astray with your information. Maybe a certified copy of your birth certificate is in order?
