It goes good except for the kidney stone battle I'm currently waging. Those little buggers are painful, and this one is being particularly stubborn. As for the job it's going good and I may actually be jumping from tank to dump trailers within the company. A truck just opened up (Kenworth T800) and I was asked if I wanted it. It would mean more money and a better variety of runs, with the occasional overnighter thrown in to satisfy this driver's wanderlust.

Sorry to hear about your problem with the kidney stone. Feel better. Glad to hear the job is working out.

Hey john whats up with this thread you guys really make this company sound good.
Is this just a few that dont know how to run? Or are you the one exception on getting GREAT miles?

Great miles? If you call 2750 miles per week great miles then yes, great miles. I've averaged that since I started here almost 3 years ago. It is my comfort zone. For me there's a lot more than just the miles. It's everything else that makes this a good job. That average is done in 4.5 to 5 days. The rest of the week I'm home.

The thread in the bad section is from someone who worked here and had some kind of marital issue with a driver. It was going along the lines of a soap opera. I elected to leave it alone for laughs and giggles. It had absolutely nothing to do with a driving job here at Calex.
