    sat so long I got a 34 hour restart I didn't need.

Called this morning only to be told that "I had a load put on me yesterday" after some checking, it seems WF refused to send the load info to my truck, so I got the load info the old fashioned way.

Kimberly Clark wasn't to happy their load was a day late! Not my fault, I was told it was a glitch in the cpu.

They musta fixed it, cause right after I left with this load, I got another pre-assigned right after it.

The reason why is because you stopped at 0100 that night. Once you hit 0000, it adds in the hours you gain into your 70 hour clock, regardless if you are on your 10 hour break or not.

So when you got up in the morning, you had already gained the hours for that day before you even stopped the previous night.

Well that ####### sucks! Some ##### starts pounding on my door at 0500 (went to bed at 0200) and tells 4 other trucks and I that over night parking is not allowed and if we don't leave she will call a tow truck (Walmart supercenter parking lot). Luckely schneider has a drop yard 6 miles south of there so I rally on down, turn the truck off after getting off the freeway
(Red light), and start it back up again hoping it put me on duty and out of drive...... But it didn't, as soon as I could safely stop and change it, I was still in drive for a whopping 6 minutes..... Now instead of being ready to go at 11:30 I have to wait till 15:15..... and explain why I got a hos violation...... :biggrin_25510:

Makes sense, except it was on my 14. I had 05:04 left on my 14 when I stopped. 1 minute before finishing my 10 hour break I still had 05:04 on my 14.

Should have forced a reboot. It would have bought you about 10 minutes.

Control alt delete. Just make sure you been in an off duty status for at least 5 minutes.

####! I wish I would have remembered that. I would have made it if it would have changed me to on duty when I shut the truck off at the signal. :biggrin_2557:

Look at it this way. They're gonna frown and tell you not to do it again.

I'm probably gonna have to sit in class to learn how to measure a low hanging wire. For 3 or 4 hours.

And I'm not kidding when I said she pounded. I felt it in the bunk. Seriously, my first thought was that someone got into my side compartment and banged on the bottom on the bed. Which led me to believe someone was stealing ####. The look on her face was priceless when I ripped those curtains open!
