Ride your high horse with your cronnies that have nver tested. You and I both know better. That is why you are avoiding the ECM Printout.
That is ok though, our phone has not stopped ringing.
Keep bashing guys. The true Professionals are teliing the others the real story.

It's snake oil, and here's the proof (from Ben's own tests, ironically):

I found where Ben and company received a grant of $81,700 under the TERP for a "Proposal to Secure EPA Verification for Retro-Fit Devices for Gasoline-Powered Vehicles". Reports from the testing are HERE and HERE.

    The summary is:

Four vehicles were tested with and without the device, and all four showed wildly varying results, some with NEGATIVE fuel economy changes. Yes, the device decreased fuel economy in some cases. In no case was the fuel economy improvement better than 2.44%.

Also, the testing for fuel economy was flawed. Why? Because volumetric fuel consumption was determined by filling the fuel tank with a measured amount of fuel, and then draining and measuring it after the tests. Each vehicle is fuel injected, and it would have been a simple matter to take a sum of the injector pulses during the test runs and calculate fuel consumption based on injector flow, for a VERY accurate fuel consumption figure. The fact that this was not done says to ME that they have something to hide, and I suspect that their tests were carefully crafted to generate the desired results needed for their sales efforts.

In a nutshell, what this tells ME is that the device is not effective. If it were, then it would have shown consistent positive results across all four vehicles.

The testing was done primarily for emissions improvements. Ben's marketing here is focusing primarily on improved fuel economy. I would have no problem being excited about and promoting this product if Ben would provide proof positive for his fuel economy claims, and others here were able to reproduce his results. I see neither.

I would suggest that Ben and company be careful not to end up like this outfit.

I haven't read all the pages in this thread, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I hope Ben got permission from TTR and the members that he quoted to post their comments on his web site as endorsements of his product.

I believe your sales here are over. Cannot imagine anyone buying from a "professional salesman" responding like this.

Considering the following conclusion of the testers, and after reading the procedure of the test and results, it is apparent something in the device was working. Even the testers stated the device showed good potential and need further long term testing.

With The Nay-Sayers here it was over when we started. You guys make it sound like we just starte selling when we asked for volunters to test it here. The O/O's that tested and are putting money in the Bank are a lot more effective than the negative approach by Dice. You can twist all the stories you want. Bottom line is this.
O/O's that pay for their own fuel and want to increase the bottom line, will give us a try. They have nothing to Loose. Lots to Gain.
All other opinions, are just that!
I am sure the Naysayers would love to see the administrators shut this thread down since there are so many with Positive results.
That is strictly up to the Administrators but I personally do not think it is fair to the majority that has honestly been posting their results.
Sorry Guys but when a product works, it sells itself.

This was from 2004. It's been 8 years. I would expect that if it had 'good potential' that it would have been investigated by now to support the marketing efforts.

Give me some time, and I'll uncover the personal relationships between Ben and the testing lab owner and / or staff...

Why don't you just throw in the oil company conspiracy while you're at it, like so many before you have done?
