If you do an emissions test on a vehicle, regardless of the year or equipment, and you get the results of HC CO NOx and Particulate and then you install the ECO-system which causes the fuel to burn more complete, You then get the emissions results and HC, CO, and NOx are reduced and particulate is reduced by 40%, this proves that the fuel was burnt more completely. A more complete burn creates a hotter burn.
Less emissions, Hotter burn, Increase in power.

So basing your rebuttal on something attributed to me that you made up is nonsensical.
We know this is not realistic as diffident engines in different states of tune have different levels of efficiency.
Dice has not only achieved his mpg by making his truck slippery.
He has also improved the efficiency of the engine.
The most efficient engines commercial available today are in excess of 50% efficient.
My whole point was that a engine that is 50% efficient as apposed to an engine that is 35% efficient does not give you a 15% (50%-35%) increase in MPG but a 43% (50%/35%) increase in Mpg if all other factors are equal.
Maybe we are arguing the same point in a different language but I do know what I am saying is accurate because it is based on science and been proven in practice.Dice1 Thanks this. -
The proof of improved fuel economy is borne out by showing a reduction of fuel usage in actual testing, and SUPPORTING this with evidence of reduced emissions. You have failed to do this. -
Then why are all these trucks using BioDiesels loosing power and mileage because of the loss of heat?
Maybe I misunderstood the engineers.
You claim I have failed to produce proof of the above statement, but I think you missed reading this thread. There are several tests here where drivers doing Real world tests on their own trucks have proven that they have More power doing less downshifting, running smoother, using less fuel, and their trucks are not smoking at the exhaust as before.
There are several posts like this.
Now Have I given you the recipe as to how to do this? No, the patent is on the website. Do you want to believe it? that is your choice.
Do you want to save money on fuel expense? that is also your choice.
Do we reduce emissions on diesels?
Diesel Opacity test is the measurement of the Particulate being emmited from the exhaust pipe. We did many tests on city, county, school districts, and municipalities. All showed a substantial reduction in Particulates. Particulates is unburnt fuel.
The finer the mist from the injectors the more complete burn, the lower the Particulate, the Hotter the Burn, the more hpr you have.
Now at the beginning of the thread we offered to do Real World Testing with Prfessional Drivers and get their personal testimonials on this thread.
No where did we say we were scientifically testing the unit and asked for all the scientist and physicist to step up and argue their opinions.
No Sir, We asked for Professional Drivers well experinced in the field of trucking and their finance.
Simple Real world test. How much did you spend before? How much do you spend now with the ECO-System?
If their is extra profit left in the "Hip National Bank" the system must work.
If there isn't - send it back for a refund.
You do not need a Science, or Physics Degree and be the Captain of the Debate Team to do a successful test as an Owner/Operator. -
I'm going to be cautious because Ben has not been rude to me in anyway. But the way he goes about it all is a bit harsh at times just going by his posts here. But he is just a guy trying to drfend his product. But I can say that sometimes Dice's posts come off as ####y and condescending as well, tho I'm able to tell that was not your intent MOST times as well.
I treat everyone equally and believe everyone has a right to their own opinion and views on things and I try to see both sides. I was not asked to get an ECM printout before installing my ECOTAZ. Not sure why Dice is being prodded about not having one unless Ben wanted to either have proof his truck is really getting the 9+ mpg he claims or just for more data and that Dice has means to get one easier than the rest of us???
On this topic, you and Ben did not start out on a good note, and I think the test was not a great idea between 2 people who are on a bad start. Granted YOUR numbers show no improvement, he also has data that does. Who is more right??? I have no clue but I do know that I'm not wasting my time with all the bickering and arguing.
I hope you one day you reach 10mpg steady, and I also hope Ben sells 100 million of these. This is America and everyone deserves the right to do whatever they want freely. It's up to the buyers to make the choice they feel is best. -
Now that it appears it is not working on my truck with my dedicated runs we see Ben turning on me with every sales trick he can to shut me up or disclaim my testing that is making alot of people actually think about it. I know this because I have to cleanout my PM box almost everyday due to this and about my truck specs.

How is your fuel mileage lately and do really think you see a proveable gain in fuel mileage when compared apples to apples before and after Ecotaz?
Thank you and I am sorry if I offended anybody here. Maybe that is why so many posters on TRR led me over here to test this device because I don't sugarcoat anything and they know with my almost identical dedicated runs it will be able to prove if it works or not very fast. -

Question for Hammer and all with scientific or advanced mechanical knowledge.
Do you think why it might work on some trucks to improve throttle response and less smoke could be the same reason the Turbo3000d works on some trucks and not others by putting this big metal tube right before the injector rails allows the motor to not lose fuel pressure or fuel volume at the injector rails under hard acceleration due to this stored volume of fuel right up there next to the injector rails?
It is probably not working on my truck the same way the Turbo3000d Vada did not work due to my FASS supplying plenty of fuel pressure and volume to my fuel system including the injector rails?
Also with my slow speeds and easy on the throttle conservative driving may also prohibit this demand for extra fuel volume and pressure because I am not mashing on the throttle that much?
The stored fuel in the large tube EcoTaz in a non-FASS or non-Air Dog or any non-booster type fuel pump truck maybe why it helped some with better acceleration and no smoke and would be even more helpful if they modified it with better ECM or other motor mechanical changes?
I know I asked Ben this question earlier and I got the "it makes no difference", but I have not heard one of his testers mention even having a FASS or Air Dog???
Installing it as close to injector rail as possible kind of clued me off to this explanation.
Just trying to think outside the box here to why it does and does not work on some trucks.
Note: The Turbo3000d Vada makes this very same claim about the fuel volume/pressure boost claim to help starving injectors under acceleration that actually makes alot of sense.king Q Thanks this. -
Dice, if that extra volume is on the pressure side of the tansfer pump, it could well help in that way. It'd not be as likely to help on the suction side where most seem to be installed. But most trucks without HPCR type fuel systems bypass enough fuel through the rail that I would think injector flow rates wouldn't be high enough to cause a pressure drop.
edit: remember though, that would be a transitory effect, wouldn't change steady state performance. -
Dice, to be honest I can't it did or did not improve. I had too many variables change all at the same time:
I switched from a dedicated account to running basic OTR.
I switched from tanker to flatbed
I installed a Bully Dog programmer
So now that I have a descent average to base things off of, I'm going to do a test backwards and actually REMOVE the ECO and see where my numbers go.
But that might not even help seeing that the loads I pull change from day to day and routes differ quite a bit.
