Leasing sounds like way too much of a headache. I just want to drive and make enough to eat and pay bills, not get rich.

I did have one student get right into western regional as a solo company driver. But after a couple of months averaging 1700 miles at 28 cents he went over to swift.

CRE's business model is for leased drivers.
If you are not interested in leasing, find another carrier that emphasizes company drivers. It will work out for you much better in the long run.

I will back that up. I also never heard anything good about CRE when speaking to other drivers at truck stops.

Trying to find something good about cre. I'm surprised they are still in business with so many negative remarks i found on them. either they have really good lawyers or folks are telling lies on cre.
